Yes it does. If you need to meet ADA specifications in the construction of your ramp, please let us know.
In short, no. ADA specifications apply to permanent ramps on commercial property. As a portable ramp that can be left in place for short or long periods of time, our ramps do not require permits and do not have to meet ADA requirements. Work with us or one of our excellent dealers to make sure you receive the right ramp solution for your unique need.
ADA guidelines require ramps to have 1-foot of length per 1-inch of rise and 36″ of width. However, this length is typically not needed in most locations nor is it feasible in many homes. The ramp length you need will depend on your situation and individual requirements. Please contact Roll-A-Ramp® with any questions you may have.
Roll-A-Ramp® will provide personal evaluations over the phone at NO COST. If you are able to email us photos of your home or location where access is needed, it will help us better visualize what you are trying to accomplish. We genuinely care about helping our customers with their accessibility needs. This means we will take the time to listen to our customers to make sure we understand the access situation rather than simply selling a product off the shelf.
